For the 21st year running, together with a further Motorpress group 19 publications, the specialist ‘Autohoje’ weekly invited its readers to vote for the favourite car from approximately 400 models in the running. The compact Italian supercar came out on top in the ‘Sports Car’ category, thanks to its immense appeal to a vast, varied audience in terms of nationality, taste and culture.

Designed by Alfa Romeo engineers and built at the Maserati plant in Modena, the Alfa Romeo 4C is the brand’s modern icon and represents the essential sportiness embedded in the ‘Alfa Romeo DNA’: outstanding performance and technical excellence for maximum driving pleasure combined with a breathtaking style.

Previous editions of the Portuguese competition have seen victory for Alfa Romeo models: in recent years, the Giulietta, MiTo, 159, 8C and 8C Spider.
